Fish Creek Bottle Depot stays up-to-date with the objectives of beverage container recycling in Alberta. We are proud to be active in the province’s professional organizations that help turn aluminum, glass, and plastic containers into valuable products and out of landfills. Since 1997, these associations have helped Albertans recycle more than 24 billion beverage containers.
The Alberta Beverage Container Recycling Corporation (ABCRC) matches organizations with recycling services. Working with communities and non-profit organizations, the ABCRC arranges the collecting, transporting, and recycling of Alberta’s used beverage containers.
The Alberta Bottle Depot Association actively develops the technology that allows Alberta bottle depots to become more efficient as “eco centers.” With a fully computerized system, the Depots of Alberta is a network of 218 collection sites.
Responsible for collecting and recycling beverage containers throughout Alberta, the not-for-profit Beverage Container Management Board helps provide a convenient, cost-effective system.
